and it doesn't have anything to do with the fact that pete (who's grown on me, again, thanks to this) spoke beautiful words about my city, and not shit like everybody else. or that you made brendon seem less... gayer in my mind with this.
or that this made me... 'like' ashlee: which is something hard to achieve, i may add.

oh, so glad you liked it and the characterization. I found myself liking ashlee after I wrote this, too. Actually, I grew to love all these characters and this pairing so much.

Okay, so I just wrote out a comment and lj ate it, so let me try again and I hope I don't forget anything.

First off, I obviously fail at reading fic because I missed this completely. I had never read any Pete/Ashlee before I wrote it, so it's probably a combination of that and not being a big reader of Panic fic, so I just skimmed past it without really registering it. But I'm so glad you mentioned it because damn. I don't know why, but I really like the idea of Brendon going down on a woman. Also, the image of Pete fucking Ashlee with his hand on her stomach is HOT. I'm not even sure why that did it so much for me. And thank you for mentioning Pete's jealousy. I think that's a completely normal reaction to a situation like that, no matter how hot he found watching his pregnant wife with another man.

So in summary, yes. ♥

and nnrrggg yeah, brendon. I knew the story would be a little twisted, but brendon going down on ashlee was too hot to ignore.
