Back at school and all that fun stuff

Sep 04, 2008 01:00

The second week of this semester is about half way over and such, so I decided 'hey, why not post on Live Journal?'
Of course, the obvious lack of a working internet may also contribute to a hell of a lot of angry times. I don't know why, but the internet seems to be jerking off or something everytime I try to use it. Of course, the entire building seems to be on the fritz, so maybe it isn't actually our fault.

Classes are going steady. I generally hate all of them. I thought they would be ok, but... meh, not really.
Design- What the fuck is design? It is artistic math. And by that, I mean we fuck around with shapes and try to answer geometric problems by using an artistic approach. It has already led to about 2 hours of argh on the first homework assignment.

Basic Drawing - The only problem I have with the class is that it is so damn uncomforable. Serious, can't the art department invest in chairs from, oh, I don't know, the last 20 years? Sitting on backless, wooden chairs for 2 hours three times a week is not my idea of a great learning enviroment. However, today, we did go outside and draw. I got to lean against a tree and smoke while drawing. How often do you get to do that?!

Japanese- Fuck Japanese. I am getting tired of studying it. Or more, I am getting tired of Furuhata. You all know the fun times with her. Well, also add in that she is basically just ignoring the fact that I am a Japanese major (and one time ignoring me for 30 minutes when she had asked me to come talk to her) and forgetting the fact that I am suppose to take Kanji with her.

Programing - I generally like this class, although the teach is senile. Like, literally. Oh, and she is also teaching us a program that she had learned how to use only 5 days before school.

On the social side, things are already a fiasco. I love living in the International House and Anna and Alyssa are great, although I don't seem to get to spend as much time with them as I had thought. Kayley and Linda are already trying to take up all of my time (Look below for a fun time post about them), and college orginizations are crazy. GSA seems to be... meh. Even though I <3 Lauren and Jessica, I am afraid we are all about to butt heads, (although Jessica and I seem to agree on most things... so Fuck Lauren. :D )
Also, John Gallow and the College Democrats are pratically shoving the Barack Campaign down the GSA's throat (Not to mention everyone elses).
I feel like all of a sudden, I do not have any time for my own personal stuff. After class and spending a bit of time with one of several different groups of people (International House, Linda/Kayley, Japanese House Girls, GSA people, or Kayla/Rachelle), I don't have a lot of time to come home and work on my novel, read, or do much more than catch the tail end of a CSI episode.

By the way, while I am thinking about it, does Spike TV ever show anything besides CSI? It seems like that show is on all the fucking time, except on random days when they interupt the non-stop marathon for a Ultimate Fighting show. Spike TV... The CSI and Ultimate Fighting channel.
Also on that note, What the fuck is wrong with Cartoon Network?! The Channel doesn't seem to exist anymore. I think the school cancelled it and I am about to call out for blood.

So, it seems I have located a way to cease connections with Linda/Kayley. And it is rather genius, making me wonder how I did not see it before. We all know I play RPGs with Linda/Kayley and last year I spent an unneccesary amount of time playing Dungeons and Dragons with them last year. Well, it seems this was the way to get them off my backs. For this years game, I offered Kayley a unique chance for her character and she accepted... however, once Linda found out, she went off the wall and screamed at me at SHEETZ (Note: She had also just bought me Cigarretts, so... yeah...)
I found this annoying, yet hiliarious, because Linda's 5 second mind, she didn't seem to realize that I had offered Kayley something, which means to keep the game fair, I was going to offer all of the players something. Of course, I still do not feel the need to tell them this and for a while, should they bother me, I shall simply ignore them or walk away. Let them deal with it for a while.
Or at least until I run out of cigs again and I have to find a way to get more. >.>;;;

Also on another note, I borrowed Avatar: The Last AirBender from Sue (SUE!!!!) and I love it. I am about halfway done, (Note the lack of time to watch it), but it is amazing. Also on that note, Sue (who is part of the Linda/Kayley) is actually fun and I wish I could spend more time with her, but without the Linda/Kayley attachments...

Damn it, I guess I might as well say this though too. People have been asking me "if they annoy you so much, why do you hang out with them." and for some reason, I actually like them... but only a little. They can be ok, but as we all know, they can, and usually are, reasons for great anger. So... yeah...

On better notes;

-I like my roommate. He talks a lot, but thats ok. He also doesn't spend a lot of time in the room, which is cool because I like to just chill, but he hangs out with me for a bit before bed. He is also super nice.

-Jessica has a bitchen snake and I just wanna hold it all the time. It kind of makes me want to get one. Kind of.

-My plant is doing well! I feared for its health this summer, but it seems much better now. I guess it missed college too. ^_^

-I like everyone in the house! Even the people I didn't think I would like, like Maddie, turned out to be pretty cool. Maddie and I talked about Serial Killers, then creepy Otaku for like an hour. It was fun times.

Oh, and random other note: We all seem to be drinking at least a little bit every night. >.<
Both good and bad things. XD

So, I think I expelled a weeks worth of random BS, so... yeah!
