stupid book
My typist is still reading the bloody book. She likes it, but I'm reading it over her shoulder and I think this girl Beebo as is the main character is bloody stupid. She's got a friend Paula, and when they first meet each other it's sort of like Maurice and me - things move real fast. But this damn Beebo girl don't see a good thing when it's right in front of her face and goes to California to be with some movie star tart with a stupid name. [Typist's note: Venus Bogardus.] Yeah, thanks, that's it.
She's daft if she don't change her mind and go back to Paula. If she don't I might use the damn book to feed a fire.
And my typist has another book she's reading, this one for a class. It's by a Roman bloke and is called the Satyricon. I like a kid in it called Giton, but he's too young for the other boys to be doing the things with him that they are. Can't be over fourteen.
My typist has to read more of it now.
