Memorial Service
It's been postponed until March 28, same time and place, so that I can dig up some more people and get my head together. I leave for N. Carolina tomorrow and getting it all together was just getting to be too much. Thanks to Miasia and Emma for calling a bunch of people yesterday known and unknown, who knew and didnt know that my dad had died, to inform them of the change in memorial service. It was the first bit of fun I've had with this whole thing. Not only did one person in the phone book not really know who my dad was, but Miasia thinks she was a transwoman, while I finally spoke with him and believe him to be a good ole boy. With a name like Devine, it could go either way . . . right?
