I realise that this is the worst possible time to post, seeing as the whole LJ populace is currently buried in Deathly Hallows, but I've had it finished for a while, and could think of nothing else constructive to do with my time. Here is Part 1 of the fanfic Drop Dead Gorgeous by
mistful (you can read it at her journal, if you are so inclined), which sets Harry after the events of all books, in the Auror workforce. It was written before Deathly Hallows, of course. I won't go into plot, but you'll be surprised, and you may bust a gut laughing.

ladyjaida (and, of course
shoebox_project), and was most pleasantly surprised to see Maya mentioned as well. Congrats :)
***feedback needed: musical interludes, or ten seconds-+ of silence? (PS the music here is Island in the Sun by Weezer, off The Green Album). I also am not that fond of Shacklebolt's voice, so that may change in upcoming chapters.
