I have been camping out in little Julia's apartment, and she comes home soon! the kitties and i slept a good hour after playing around the house, one of them nestling on my neck for the entire snooze.
I walked to the drug store cheerfully in my little white skirt. and low and behold i had my first marilyn monroe incident with the sidewalk and the rising steam. one car honked. it was more embarrassing than i thought. but i got the giggles.
Hooray Chicago. i wasn't sure if i would like it more than NY or not, but i do. i really do. people here are warm and the city is so much cleaner. people smile here.
