This is not goodbye
To Bryyyan:
I don't think there's anything I could say right now that you don't already know. You are my best friend and I can't even imagine what my life would be like right now if I had never met you. Even though we didn't meet until high school, I feel as if I have grown up with you and that I wouldn't be the same person If I hadn't. Our partnership has produced a lifetime's worth of amazing stories in just a few short years and for that I can never thank you enough. When your're up there chillin with Nelly, always remember that my cardboard box is quite literally your cardboard box and never forget the parking lots that raised you.

To Everyone Else:

For those of you that don't know, The city of Fort Myers is taking over Sactuary Skatepark. Yesterday I received a call from the head of Parks & Recreation (who I had met during the earlier city hall fiascos) offering me a job as full (Manager) or part-time position at the park. Because I wish to maintain my status as a full time student, I told him that I would not be able to take the full time position, but that I might be interested in a part-time job (20 hours a week). I talk with Old School, who said that he would be interested in the full time job, and I would be very happy to see him get it. Unfortunately there are several issues I have with the city of Fort Myers that make me hesitant to become their employee.
1) They are the same people who banned the thing I love.
2) They made the decision to take over the park in the aftermath of the hurricane, when there was no chance for public opposition.
3) They are likely to create an environment with more rules and less freedom that our park has had in the past and I will have to enforce whatever rules they create.
I apologize for the length of this post, but I would appreciate any input. Do I try to be a force for good from within the belly of the beast or tell the Devil "no deal"?
