Yesterday I got out of my anatomy final at about 10:00am. As I left the room, I though "good, I've got 22 hours until my physics final, and nothing to do but study. I went to the library to get in a couple of hours of study time before I left campus. After a quick check of myspace and livejournal, I sat down to begin studying. It was now around 11:30. I got through about four pages before I fell asleep in my chair. I woke up around 12:30 and read a few more pages. I realized that the calm and quiet library was draining my life force and decided to go to the gym for a quick work out and then back home to study. When I got to my car I found that in my rush to make it to anatomy on time I had left my lights on. My battery was deader than a doornail. Deciding to deal with it later, I walked to the gym. The road from the parking lot to the gym is indirect, and about halfway through my journey I decided to take a short cut through the woods. I got to the gym and spent about two hours working out (longer than I planned because of my upcoming finals). Upon leaving the gym, I decided to go for the gusto and try to blaze a trail directly from the gym to the parking lot where my dead car was waiting. Had my plan worked, I would have found a more scenic route and possibly saved some time. Instead I ended up lost in the woods. Jumping two barbed wire fences, I ran down the only trail I could find for what seemed like miles. Eventually I was able to follow the sound of traffic and come out of the woods on Ben Hill Griffin road (The road that the main campus lies off of). All-in-all, I was only in the woods for about an hour, but I had lost a lot of study time and still had a dead battery in my car. I hurried back to my car and called campus safety who came to give me a jump. I drove home and fell asleep again, then woke up and studied again, then fell asleep again, then woke up and studied again, then went to take my test.
But now I'm Free till January.
