On September 29, 1758, Horatio Nelson, better known as Lord Nelson, was born in Burnham Thorpe, England. Born the son of a village rector, Lord Nelson joined the Brittish Navy at the age of 12. By the age of 20 he had command of his own ship. In the French, Revolutionary, and Napoleonic wars, Lord Nelson served bravely and protected England from possible invasion by France. Once, when confronted by overwhelming forces and an inadequate ammunition supply, Nelson ordered his men to fill the cannons with their own feces. Within an hour, the enemy forces had exhausted their toilet paper supplies and were forced to return to port. Oh yeah and it's my Birthday to.
