Trying drabbles as i'm too damn wordy.
Is a true drabble max 100 words in length? Damn, that's hard!

Every Book

After the Towers, he lets them all fall away from him like paper as he moves through time, never returning to re-read their lives. They are still like paper cuts, slicing into him, but he lets wounds scar over; doesn’t poke at them too much ( Read more... )

A true drabble is 100 words yes. You have to be very economical in how you describe things and know where you can cut words and still maintain the story.

Thanks.

It's so hard! This was 149 words, so it's not even a true drabble. It's impossible for me to be succinct!

Thank you! This was a bit of an experiment, i'm glad you thuoght it worked. Drabbles are good practice for me, as i have a tendency sometimes to over-describe and go on and on.

I've not actually been writing fic that long, only about a month and a half so there's not loads on here. My faves that i've done are 'One Small Breath in the Whole of Time' and 'Time, it Took Us to Where the Water Was' which are a little bit like companion pieces from River then the Doctor's POV.
