Thank you so much for reading and taking the time to comment. I'm glad that you felt the story lifted the veil on River for a moment. I love River so much because she's such a complex character, with a tragic past - and a tragic future. It gets to me.
I was having difficulty deciding how to structure this and the thought of doing it by Tarot came to me suddenly. It's something i'll definitely try again as it was fun choosing cards and fitting archetypes to story.
