Decided to see what games I haven't completed...

before I started playing Force Unleashed 2 and Fallout New Vegas...

All I thought was "how the hell did I let this many games slide?"

In no particular order are the games that I need to finish:

Resonance of Fate
Alan Wake
Red Faction Guerrilla
Tomb Raider Underworld
The Bourne Conspiracy
Fracture
Prince Of Persia (The stupid one where you basically can't die)
Infinite Undiscovery
The Last Remnant
Magna Carta 2
Perfect Dark (will probably never finish.  Not to fond of strict 1st person shooters)
Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion GOTY Edition
Ninja Gaiden II
Dead Space
Dragon Age Origins
and possibly Ghost recon advanced warfighter

If I don't buy another game for 6 months, I still have stuff to play.  I know I'm very near the end of Dragon age origins (probably about 2 hrs or so left, but I haven't been able to br.ing myself to finish.  Got tired of dying in Ninja Gaiden 2.  Got bored with Infinite Undiscovery, didn't like the game mechanics of Last Remnant or Magna Carta 2, was distracted from Elder Scrolls 4 and Red faction by Mass effect 2 and Dragon Age.  Only went a little into Alan Wake, Tomb Raider, and Bourne Conspiracy by Star Ocean and FF 13, both of which I just finished yesterday (Star Ocean) and today (FF 13).  Think I want to tackle Resonance of Fate since it's the newest of the lot and I think I can finish it fastest of the group, followed by Alan Wake and Bourne Conspiracy.

Prince of Persia sucks so much that I doubt I'll ever finish it either.  All it comes down to is mashing buttons until I win.  I don't feel there's much of a challenge since you have basically infinite lives, and you literally start right where you "died".  Seriously, if you could die, I'd probably be all over the game trying to finish, but without the threat of dying, it's just grinding away until you win.  Where's the fun in that?

I know that once I start Fallout New Vegas, that I'll probably have at least 40-60 hours invested in it doing all the side quests and stuff, which isn't a bad thing except for the fact that I only play about 10 hours a week at best.  I'll probably wait to get involved in that until after I beat Force Unleashed 2, which should be right around the time Assassin's Creed Brotherhood comes out, of which I'll have to beat also before I think of anything else.

Some days I wish I could just take a month off from work (and life for that matter) and just play video games from the time I get up until the time I go to bed like I used to when I was younger, just to get caught up with all my half finished games.  I'd take reading breaks when I got sick of playing, or switch to a diff game.  Either way, I know I probably have somewhere in the ballpark of 200+ hours of gaming left to do and no real time to do it.

Plus I'm working on building my business websites ( www.khstuff.net for the retail side, and www.khstuff.com for the fundraising side), so that cuts into my gaming time.  But if my business takes off, then hopefully I'll have more time to play games and still be able to spend time with the family.  Maybe I'll even have time to post the huge backlog of photos I've been meaning to post....
