Big Bang Fics Update

This is basically just me talking about the upcoming big bangs I'm participating in.  If you're here for Principles, know that I plan to have the next chapter up on November 16 or 17. This assumes I finish my school papers and my big bang rough drafts. Ugh, work. Also, I've had a migraine all week. This is my first of the sort, and it has been utterly debilitating. To the point where I can't get out of bed and can barely move lest I decide to succumb to the nausea. It's been brilliant trying to work through it.

Anyway:

• I'm still working on my avengers_xbb this weekend. I'm trying to finish the rough draft, but it is a monstrosity. And I'm not particularly happy with my characterization of the Avengers. I'll probably have to revise specifically for that later. Pretty sure my story is the only Teen Wolf crossover in the bang, and it's a simple story about S.H.I.E.L.D. needing help for a case involving shifters. Yeah, I don't know, don't judge me.

• I'm also working on my teenwolf_bb this weekend. This rough draft is going faster, since it's basically a retelling of season 1. I do actually like this story, and I'll tell more about it once the claims have happened.

• I am entered in the tnwolfsuperbang but I don't know if I'll be able to do it. My original idea was to do a Ladyhawke AU, but in browsing AO3, I saw at least two versions that have appeared since I signed up in early summer. I didn't really want to trash the idea, so I thought about doing a modern retake on Ladyhawke. I'm still working on the details, and I don't know if I'll have anything finished by the deadline. (Does anyone even know the movie I'm talking about? If so, do you think a modern retake would be interesting, or should I just forget about this bang for now and focus on the other two, lol?)

• I was also considering doing the mini bang (part of the super bang), because I had some ideas for Superwolf crossover fics. But as always with me, those fics are going to be far longer than I originally intended. So I don't know if I'll manage anything for the mini bang, either.

• I wish I hadn't waffled so long over my ideas for these big bangs. I just have so many, it's difficult to choose sometimes. But this does mean I'm writing like a mad fiend to get everything done over the next week or so. Wish me luck!
