I'm learning an expensive lesson about allowing any entity act as the accoubtant for my bills. I had previously signed up to NetZero for an ISP when I thought my phone was going to be installed. They would have charged an extra $7 to pay my bills by money order (WTF???), so against my better instincts, I chose to pay by "electronic check." The bill will be paid automatically. More than a week later, AT&T sends my deposit back - for a third time in six months - due to "insufficient ID (even though I sent them THREE forms of such! In the meantime, I am sent scrambling around for another phone provider. Enter Verizon. I found out I needed $95 to get a line installed. No big deal, but on a fixed income (I'm still unemployed), that's a hefty chunk to give up for a month. Also, the clock is ticking on NetZero
