Some random thoughts......
The count-down clock reads 41:08... 41 minutes and 8 seconds before mankind goes out and settles another dispute with killing and maiming and destruction....!!!
WILL WE EVER LEARN?????!
I'm afraid that the answer is a definite NO ..... again we have this game of one up-manship going on... those with the most guns, wins.... How very sad.... !!!
I also decry the fact that being anti-war means we are automatically anti-USA... far from it but many of our fellow citizens think so..... I think I earned the right to disagree... a little over 35 years ago, I went out and fought another senseless war, a war our leaders, using lies and falsehoods to justify sending thousands of men and women to a place called Viet Nam...... and over 60,00 of our men and women are still missing....
Please, don't read this as an attack on the men and women serving in our Armed Forces,
for I know only to well what they are and will be facing... but I am angry at the politicians, who again are ready to settle international problems with force and the lives of our young men and women....
For me, I will say a prayer for all and wonder just how much closer the Doomsday Clock has moved to midnight.... !!
