I have been following the NFL for some years since 2002 but on and off and hasn't followed the game as in depth other than rooting for the teams. But just recently, I've been more immersed with the game. Following the teams, the plays, the rookies, etc.
There are just a few people here in the Philippines who appreciates the game. When my friends of mine started the NFL Fantasy Football League, we were just around 6 I believe. Most of the people I know find this game boring to watch. That's probably because they don't understand a thing about it. But when you invest some time in trying to understand the game - it's one amazing sport.
The game is pretty cerebral on every aspect of the game. Plus the physicality of the game just makes it more amazing. I haven't seen a sport that mixes both aspects as brilliant as it does.
