Why can't we be friends...
So, I had the MOST AMAZING day today, and it's not even over yet! Woke up, got ready, walked outside with my camera rolling and Jody has her camera rolling, too. Get in a car, see Sarah, meet Dana and Brian, buckle up and set off for the BEST DAY EVER! So, the car ride alone tops all car rides I've ever taken. (footage proves this statement) Along the way I learn of the scavenger hunt and "the mole". Very interesting. I was completely confused, but went along with it. We get there and Jody, Sarah and Dana abandon Brian and I, so we head to Starbucks where they forgot my drink so I got a coupon for a free one (heck yes!). When everyone arrives we separate into teams, boy vs. girls. Boys: Tim, Britt, Dallas, Brian Girls: Kristina,Jennifer,Gayanne, me
We have 10 tasks and all are pretty awesome. My favs were the socks at Smoothie King, the guacamole at Moe's, the hugging strangers (I'll never recover from being rejected by the senile 70-year-old) and the bouncy-ball tag. Oh, and we found the greatest new hang-out, Uncommon Grounds. Greatest place ever; way better than Starbucks, well the atmosphere anyway, I haven't had the coffee. We hung out there for a while after the hunt was over. (According to my horoscope I need to go to India to find the Pink Elephants. Oh, and Gayanne is getting married.)
Anyway, so I think we need a round of applause for the people who made this the Greatest Day EVER! Thank you, Jody, Dana and Sarah!!!!!
The car ride back was really great, too. (again, see footage)Dropped Brian and Dana off, then Jody and finally me.
Now it is time to power nap before Sarah comes back to get me and then Tom for the HP Party!
