Well, Summer Camp has started and I worked 10 hours every day. Boy was I tired. Ha, and those 10 hours daily did not include me coming early AND staying late. But it paid off. I was counselor of the week! And on top of that, my kids won the room decorating contest and will have a pizza party next Wednesday. Because my camp name is "Hollywood" (my supervisor says that I always have my make-up perfect, big shades, and look perfect), my "gift" was this HUGE lipstick thing that's actually a mini fan, lol. It's cute. Plus, any day next week, I get to take an hour off for lunch by myself (or with whomever) while my supervisor watches my kids. Pretty awesome, lol. I had intended on this being my last summer at the YMCA, but the way things are going, I might stay at Post Oak for another year...
My 2nd blood test came back and everything is normal. They don't know why my kidney functions were high, nor my white blood cell count. Still can't figure out why I lost all that weight, and can't gain it back, though. Hmmm...
Well, for the pictures of Post Oak Summer Day Camp 2006, Week One:
Wednesday, on the way to Moody Gardens...
Mr. B-Day, B-Day (that's his camp name), singin camp songs with my glasses on...
Sea turtle at Moody Gardens...
A sting ray...
And the shark that drove the kids crazy...
One of my kids, knocked out on the way home from Moody Gardens...
Mr. Glen (I call him Glenith, for some reason, lol), knocked out with one of the kids...
One of my kids, OVERLY enjoying himself on "Fun Day Friday"...
Part of my AWESOMELY decorated classroom. The theme was under the sea and the ENTIRE room looked like it was under the sea. We even had a HUGE octopus in the corner, trash on the bottom, a human submarine, and a mermaid (now you see why my classroom won)...
(Excuse how dirty it was. We had just finished arts and crafts and left in a hurry)
