Weekend Recap
It’s been a lazy weekend around here. I finished most of my take-home test for Adv Legal Document Prep, but I still have a crap-load to do on my legal memorandum for Adv Legal Research and Writing. Maybe eminent domain wasn’t the way to go after all, but it’s too late to turn back now. Turns out that the Kelo v. New England ruling won’t affect states that restrict “public use” through their legislature (Texas already has). So if your state hasn’t--contact your representative.
Last night, Brad and I had grilled red fish for dinner. Mmm… yummy! If you’re reading this Woody, we’ll take any unwanted flounder off your hands too ;-)
I’ve been watching football all day, and now I’ve moved onto NASCAR. The Cowboys beat the Lions 20-7, but we really needed the Giants to loose to the Eagles today. Oh well… Brad and I are going to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl in January! GO HORNS!!! I never thought I’d be so excited about going to California.
