Maxillofacial Surgeon=Oral spurgeon?

Sort of. He's an oral surgeon too. The maxilla is the jaw bone. Not all oral surgeons are specialized in that field, but most maxillofacial surgeons are also oral surgeons.

Ahh ok! Did'nt know that I think mine is a maxillofacial doc too 'cuz he's the head of facial trauma at one of the two big med centers here and on staff at the other
