In My Head

So the other day when I heard this song I thought only about how much my life could actually reflect the truth of this song. Today, though when I heard it again something was different. I knew that my life wasn't the way the man portrayed the life of the man in this song, I was set apart and redeem for that way of life and that way of thinking. So, I changed the lyrics of the chorus and made it better suit who I am in you.

"I come from a long line of losers
half outlaw half boozers
had my first taste of beer when I was six
I'm part hippy a little redneck
but I'm never a suspect
Your blood line made me whoI am."

ALthough Mr. Fowler didn't mean for his song to be sung that way, they seem to paint an accurate picture of what it means to be in with Jesus Christ. We all come from backgrounds that are mysterious and shady. Full of sin and regret, but because of what you did you set us free from all of that and we are now apart of your bloodline. We are daughters and sons of Father God, the author and perfector of our faith. IT doesn't matter what are famlies did, how our mom or dad trested us. If we are really with you it doesn't matter what happened in the past.
