Jeremy had a lung biopsy yesterday and apparently he's in mild rejection. Which explains why he's been so faint and cranky since last night. It's normal for this first month or so while they're figuring out the right balance of immunosuppressants-- it's basically like his antibodies are grumpily stirring from their drugged languor and poking at the lungs with their little spears going "what's all this then." So Jeremy's at the hospital right now being infused with something that is the biochemical equivalent of "shhh, everything's okay, go back to sleep."
So I came home because they wouldn't let me go back there with him and it's going to take hours and I was hungry. And the chairs in the ambulatory infusion waiting area are REALLY uncomfortable.
I'm going to have some tea and food then go back.
