It is my profound honour to present to you the news of the birth of:
Zoe Alexandra
Born 6 May 2005
Approximately 5:45 p.m. (edited for accuracy, thanks Cat!)
Weighing 9.5 1/2 pounds
The lovely and most extraodinary Zoe (with the umlaut, if you please) has dark hair and light blue eyes!
Yaz is doing fine, and is currently basking in the glow of a job well done after roughly 13 hours of labour. I didnt get a chance to talk to Scott, but I could literally *hear* him grinning in the background, so Daddy's doing fine, as well.
Yaz will get in touch with everyone as soon as possible, but asked me to please make this post and inform everyone who has been waiting with great anticipation...not to mention bated breath...of the appearance of this most charming of arrivals. It is with no greater possible joy that I acquiesce.
If everyone who reads this will propagate the news on their own LiveJournals and weblogs, we can ensure that everyone can hear this news as fast as possible. Thanks very much!
Yaz sends her love to you all. :) She sounded just fine, strong and healthy, and was near to bursting out of her skin with pride and delight. I'll leave it to her to regale you all with the tales of her fabulous exploits upon her triumphant return.
