The weekend that was
I just got back from a wonderful weekend spent with my beautiful wife. It was very nice to get away for a couple days and just decompress. The weather was excellent. We visited some art galleries, and some patios for cold drinks and good food.
The Shirley Jackson Awards were handed out today. For those who don't remember, I was nominated in the Edited Anthology category. I did not expect to win. And I didn't. The award went to Ellen Datlow, and she is very deserving. As are all the other winners. It was truly an honour just to be nominated. Congratulations to all the winners.
