Raining Summer
“Come on guys, it’s a simple enough game to play and it’s not like it’s going to get you drunk, unless you really can’t handle your liqueur” Owen called back to the team as he put the finishing touches to the cocktails.
Jack sighed, “I dunno Owen, I don’t think it’s a good idea for you all to be drinking, we may need everyone if something happens!”
“A, Harkness you are not getting out of this, you’re playing too. B, The rift has been quiet and C, like I said, none of us are going to get drunk as such. It’s just a bit of a laugh!” He placed the 5 drinks on the table and the team eyed them warily.
Tosh looked especially unsure, “I think Jack might be right Owen, we shouldn’t really…”
Owen immediately scribbled something down on the piece of paper.
Anyone is seen or heard complaining about the game - one mouthful
“Owen, that’s hardly fair, of course we’re going to complain at first…” Gwen began, but Owen simply stared.
“Right everyone writes down certain activities that they don’t want to see today and we’ll start!”
Eventually, they all finished writing down particular scenarios and Owen added a few just to finish it off.
Anyone seen cheating the game - one mouthful and the cheater downs whole drink
Someone has run out of drink - one mouthful and refill for all!
He smirked as he finished and promptly stuck the list on the door.
Everyone else sighed and took their drinks, going back to work. They had all agreed to the game on the premise that it was raining, they were all in foul moods and the Rift was quiet, along with the fact that the Weevils were staying in the sewers.
Owen grinned at some of the items on the list, this was going to be too easy, especially as quite a few contained Jack and Ianto in various compromising positions, and the fact that he had neglected to tell the team that his drink was completely alcohol free and theirs contained a considerable amount more than it should.
