Haha. Don't worry, Russ, I love deep questions.

1. Of course you're one of my friends, in addition to being one of my Brothers. If you ever get the feeling that you annoy me, that's only because I'm shy. I honestly think you're great. :)

2. In coming from a Catholic school, well, my views on sex really haven't changed much. I'd like to think of myself as pretty liberal and accepting of what other people want and do in the bedroom. As for me, I've always held myself to a "not until I'm really in love/engaged/married". But that's only for sex, like, textbook definition sex. Everything else is fair game, but I've discovered recently that I only like doing anything within the context of a steady relationship. I do think personally that college is the best time to lose your virginity.

3. This is a very interesting question. Actually, a couple of months ago, when MYA was practicing to play for the OFSA awards dessert, I walked out on a practice. I was the only mello in the group, and we had a lot of new music to look at, which I could not get down. Then, I tried to play one of the bass drums to keep beat, and that didn't work either. I got so frustrated, that I made as though to casually exit, as though I were coming back, and headed to the instrument room to brood. Tom later came into the room and told me that he wasn't a serious musician, that he just did band for fun. I saw what he was saying, but I wanted to be a musician, and couldn't seem to be one. Later in the evening, Ben told me that most of being a musician is being passionate about making music. This gave me a lot of hope to the fact that I may be a musician.

A lot of times in my life, I've told myself that I'm not a musician, due to my lack of knowledge in theory and my ineptitude at sight reading. Also, despite being able to write lyrics and have melodies attached to them, I often have trouble writing down the melodies on staff paper. But my passion for making music has never faltered, even at times when I think that I'm merely a poet masquerading as a musician.

4. I'm a really clean (*cough*prude*cough*) person, so I've never taken anything. Medical drugs-wise, I found out that I'm sensitive to epenipherine the hard way when, during a root-canal, the dentist injected me with it and I started to shake. I have gotten proximity highs at concerts. In times of stressed I've always wished that I smoked cigarettes, but my mother would kill me, since those seem to be the major cause of death in her side of the family (I'm not kidding, my mom's whole family smokes). Regardless, cigarettes are a bit of a comfort that remind me of home, and even though I don't smoke, a lot of times you'll see me hanging around people when they do, since I like the smell.

5. I've been trying to form a clear definition of love for years. Whenever I think I've found it, I seem to later lose interest in it, so I don't think I've been in love for real yet...which sucks. I've come to hold my parents as a model of what love is, and since their 25th wedding anniversary is in September, I don't think I have I bad working model there, either. If anything, I think that in a relationship, the two people in it should be like a dynamic duo of sorts, a partnership that's equal and complements each other.

6. I think that LJ has increased my interactions with others. I've actually made friends with people on LJ and then meet them in person...and they weren't creepy internet stalkers either! They were nice people! Haha. On the flip side, I find that it's somewhat like stealing someone's thunder when someone I already know tries to tell me something that happened to them and I say, "Oh yeah, I saw it on your LJ."
