Buds
This is what I said when I discovered that the sunflower seeds I had planted a couple of weeks ago had sprouted shoots:
"Hello! Welcome to the world! I know, it can be a scary place but there are good times to go with it too. And trust me, the good times are worth it."
Just previous to this WB series worthy comment found me exclaiming with joy to my roommate, "I'm a mommy now! I made something live!"
Accompanying this comment was me adding somewhat more quietly, "For once, something is living and being born, instead of dying." I guess lines like that can only give one a glimpse of how I've come to view the world since the new year.
