Usual stuff, pushing back of the arrival and leaving dates
Oh hum.... Not surprising, but it's still quite annoying. I'll be doing patrol runs into a nearby airbase to be picking up the uparmoured humvees that are coming in from the 53rd (Florida's National Guard) and hopefully we'll be able to break them in. Why not? We are going to be babysitting them until they arrive.
It's the long windy season over here, about 5pm to 10pm the winds begin to pick up and continue blowing in gusts (sometimes real heavy gusts) constantly. It's quite annoying, but lucky it hasn't been picking up real heavy sand or dust storms thru here... yet.
And the idiots (enemies) are beginning to start there usual crap again. Blowing up IEDs, placing mines, and generally POing everyone in Afghanistan. They are doing nothing but really ticking everyone off and I don't see why they continue. They are causing themselves problems.
Today was an award ceremony for us... whoopie. One more thing down before going home. That's all I say.
