The urge to smoke.... it always visits me at different points in my life, sometimes in my dreams, sometimes in my imagination, sometimes in my fantasies(well a sexual encounter with a girl who is smoking seems to arouse me considerably

Smoking in Dreams

I have had dreams in which I smoked. This happened during stressful times, like when I was struggling with my studies during pre-university days. I also had a complete lack of social life.

I have read that this occurs when there is an inherent need in an individual to relieve tension, which is fulfilled in a state of sleep induced intoxication.

This vulnerability in the potential customer, may be put to optimum use while attempting to maximise sales.

The act of sucking in the smoke may be promoted as one of the effective acts towards the relieving of tension and stress. And to address the issue of a supposed absence of social life, the cigarrete may be personalised as a symbol of affluence and class.

Given a proper advertising plan, which highlights the machismo of blowing smoke rings while simultaneously showcasing the beauty of the smoke "gently drifting in the air, slowly seeping into the nostrils," and yes, an appropriately dressed (or undresed) model which provides the underlying arousal factor of a supposed encounter with the smoke - the potential customer may be gently coaxed to exhibit inclination towards purchase behaviour.
