Well, I am a bit wobbly emotionally at the moment so it is due in some degree to that. But I found Leslie's speech moving!

You know, I am almost definitely a little bit in love with Ben Wyatt.

Oh, me too. (Despite having seen only six episodes with him in. Four of those were on a plane. I'm only up to early Season 2 with my proper chronological viewing.) He is so lovely.

Actually, there's someone writing fanfic as Ben Wyatt and doing it really well. (The linked post compiles all the fics.) It is VERY meta. Basically it's Ben recapping Parks and Rec episodes by writing TNG fics about them. (Chris Traeger is Captain Picard. Ben is Data. Leslie is Bev Crusher. Ron is Worf...oh, I'll just let you discover.) Seriously genius stuff.

I am in love with Ben and Leslie and their relationship. My partner and I got completely emotionally engaged in their romance and, not gonna lie, it kinda reignited our own romance to a certain extent.

You know, I can believe that! I actually have a post about this in draft which basically boils down to, Ben and Leslie are the only people on TV I can see anything of my own marriage in. It's amazing.

That is really sweet. (I tend to do the opposite and think "arrgh, their relationship is so much better than mine" and panic.)
