1) No, I don't! Er, songs. Let me see. I thought initially "Unwell" by Matchbox Twenty, or "Ill" by the Indelicates - but they're both too bouncy! Er, "Fifty Fifty Chance", by Suzanne Vega is quite interesting but might not be quite right. I'm still thinking.

Although, seriously, I would learn to vid if it meant I could help make that vid! For some reason it's arrived in my head fully-formed: you'd use that bit from "Need", as well, and maybe make one of its end clips that bit where ascended!Daniel takes out Anubis, and blur it out into the white room.

2)) SAM. I love her! I love her so much. Thank you for telling me that - because, you know, sometimes I do wonder if being quite so invested in fiction is a good thing, but you know, I'm reminded that it is, loving things that inspire you is so important. 1) I pretty much taught myself how to vid because I had a vid idea get lodged in my brain. If you have a Mac, I'd be happy to help you with (the little bit of) what I've figured out. Alternately, if you want, I'd be happy to work with you to try to make the vid in your head (bearing in mind that my skills are rudimentary and we both have busy schedules). Mostly cause it sounds awesome (you could also potentially steal a few clips from other shows the actor(s) did ( ... )

I just really don't want to fly to the East Coast two weekends in a row, you know? If I fly anywhere that weekend, it'll be to Chicago to see HAIR.

I am hopefully going to Maine in July - so I might be able to add something on then (maybe, depending on summer plans) if you're both still around.

1. Seriously? I would love that, thank you! I mean, I am mega-busy the next two weeks or so, but after that it lets up and I actually could put time into it, and I would so appreciate the help. If I ever think of a song.

(I do have a Mac, yes. :))

2. I hear you, I hear you. I don't think I've ever been inspired by real people, but Daniel and Sam and Kathryn Janeway... I wouldn't be the same person if I hadn't had them on my TV. I just wouldn't.

It's such a shame about your conference! That would have been awesome. I shall bear in mind your offer of a visit - perhaps some weekend next year I will just appear on your doorstep, god knows Ithaca is claustrophobic at the time of year. :P
