(no subject)
Another day spent at home for the whole day, seriously getting out of hand, need to let myself get more shifts during work.. That being said, parents are asking me to quit my job, considering that I have to travel so far to work for 5 hours and because of what happened today... My supervisor told me to work from 11-3 as there was an event and then to take a 2 hour break and work again at 5 - 10 which was my usual shift...
So I replied her asking if those 2 hours was considered my break hours and she replied that yes, I could go out and have lunch or do whatever I want and I could even sleep if I wanted.. This 2 hours were presumably figured to be unpaid.. Thus I got back to her by saying could I work 11-3 and then took a hour break as the stall was closed from 3-4 and continued from 4-9 as taking a 2 hour break was odd and out of place, considering that I couldn't do anything fruitful during that period of time...
She repled by saying true shouldn't be a problem... Then proceeded to ask me to work full day from 11-3 then 4-11 and she will let me off early if there was no one... Related this issue to my parents and they were like what the hell is she thinking?.. Lousy kind of planning and impractical.. I was thinking the same way as well, if you need me to help you for an event then you could jolly well help me as well by making the hours more practical... Help me help you...
Working under lousy management is the worst form of work and this incident is like a very bad impression of my current supervisor.. That being said, I still cant come to a decision to leave or to work.. Shall continue working for now and just see what other further stunts she could come up with... Working tomorrow ! Can't wait, need something to help me pass time more now that I seem to have so much more free time on hand..
