Disappointment
Why is when we have problems, or need answers, this is where we come? Their was a position at work that I really wanted, Jeremy walked out 2 saturdays ago. So this would leave the position open for AMIT=Asst. mgr in training. A week goes by, and they never asked me. They asked my parts pro guy if he wanted the position, and he said "No", but I would like to suggest " Dawn" for the job. I thought for surely I would of got asked for the position, I've been there the longest and I have great customer service, plus what I don't know I can get training on the rest. Well today I go to work and, I had no clue the new guy they hired is gonna take the MIT position, when I found this out I was pissed....#@****WTF.
I was really upset, upset to the point I was bout to cry! No one even asked if I wanted the position. They hired someone new off the street and he's gonna be my new boss. Fuck that, I'm like why didn't I get a chance or even get asked If I wanted the position. Elaine(assist store mgr)who is just a Bitch all the time, says I don't have enough experience, what she really was saying was I'm not smart enough. Now Im really storming, so mad that I wanna just walk off my job. I'm like an MIT is a mgr in training, what part of that don't she understand!!!!
So I call Sam, and I'm like goin off and I told him , what she said. He told me to calm down and not to get mad, that Dan will be gone by the end of the month and to be patient, be Patient WTF. I don't care that he'll be gone, I think it's wrong and I should get the position , Fair is fair. So after that I've been so emotional and everything is making me cry. It's pretty bad when I just wanna listen to country music.
What I really think is my boss is prejudice and don't like working with women and only reason he's working with the Bitch(Elaine) is because she was transferred there. I'm thinking bout calling human resources and talking to someone who's ahead of him. I don't know what to do and I'm up for all suggestions. I really like my job, and I'm good at it, Well I think so! I just don't wanna lose it or get fired. I work work him in the morning, maybe I'll just talk to him, and ask him why he didn'nt ask me. I'll let you all know what happened tomorrow! Wish me luck...
