In a midnight talk, in a morning kiss, when I'm in your arms that's where it is...
So... pretty much the best week of my entire life. Just a few things to update on:
I'm going home Friday to buy my car! Dad and I went car shopping last weekend and I found a '99 dark green Dodge Intrepid with only 55,000 miles, a V6 engine, CD player, everything for only $4250. It needs a few repairs (we took it to our auto mechanic) but those still won't cost over $600. I'm so excited! And I'm paying for it all on my own, so it's my car and no one else's. Of course, K.C.'s really excited, because she kind of gets a car out of it too, since I won't need the Saturn anymore. I can't wait, I'll be so much happier with a car - it's a new level of freedom that I've really missed since leaving for college.
Now, the reason I needed the car - I got a job at EKU over the summer!! I'm so excited! There were like 200 people interviewed, and only 25 selected. I get free summer housing, $1550 for the whole summer, and I'll be leading orientations for incoming freshman throughout the summer, then helping with new student days, which means I get to move in earlier, too. It's gonna be pretty much a blast. And Samantha, the RA from 2nd floor who's in Pi Phi with me, is doing it too. Yay, I'll know someone! I have a meeting today for that, so that'll be fun.
Spring break I'm going to Panama City with the Pi Phi's, I cannot wait! Jon's going, too, with Logan and Justin and everyone, so we'll get to hang out. I hate OH/KY weather, I seriously can't wait for some sun and warmth! Less than a month, yay!
I got my first couple of articles published in the Eastern Progress! Go to http://www.easternprogress.com/home/ to read them, and let me know what you think! I was pretty freakin excited to see my name in there, and one story was on the front page!
Oh, so last night was pretty much the most amazing night ever. I usually hate Valentine's Day, but Jon took me out to dinner where we had our first formal date, then came back and spent the night together... he's so amazing, I'm so glad we're together! Our 4 month is in a week - I can't believe it's been that long, it seems like just yesterday we were driving around and he told me he liked me. So it's definitely going well, I love him so much!
