random's thoughts. (special 18 hour edition!)
1) I'm writing this during hour 15 of an 18 hour shift, so bear with me.
2) Battlestar is coming on in 10 minutes, and I won't get to see it till tomorrow. FRAK!
3) I'm reading "The Number of the Beast" by Heinlein. It has nothing to do with the devil, but I love the fact that it makes my bumpersticker-Christian coworker squirm.
4) Think Geek has a new "I heart Buffy" shirt, with a stake through the heart. I wants it.
5) I'm about at my wit's end at work. There's going to be some changes. Soon. Best case scenario, I have a little more free time on my hands. Worst case scenario, I have a TON of free time on my hands....
6) Me. John. Wrestlemania. April. If you smell what the Lonelynerd is cookin'.
7) Playing Street Fighter HD Remix on Xbox Live with my cousin is simply the coolest thing ever.
8) Getting married in an online video game shouldn't be as time consuming and thought intensive as a real wedding. So why is it?
9) I am LOVING Netflix. I'm catching up on a ton of 60's and 70's movies, as part of my ongoing research into that time period. Who knew developing an obsession with the JFK asassination would lead to me becoming a history buff?
10) I have come to the conclusion that my drawing ability has completely left me. I wanted to make Kristin a card for her 30th, but I just can't get the pencil to cooperate with the paper. She might just be getting a gift and a storebought card.
11) Did I mention that I'm obsessed with Within Temptation? Because I totally am. In fact, I'm going goth next month.
12) No, I can't pull off goth. I'm too husky.
13) Hearing that my father took a gunshot to the gut made me realize that he might not be around much longer. I think this might be the year that I drive up and talk to him. Just so I know that I said my piece and tried to understand WHO he is.
14) "Floccinaucinihilipilificator". I'm learning new words all the time.
15) Speaking of which, lately, I just want to read and LEARN as much as I can, about as much as I can. More on that in another post.
