I find it harder and harder these days to find music that really strikes a chord in me. Between the drivel they play on the radio now, and MTV taking the "M" out of...er...MTV, it's rare that I find stuff I really like. I discovered Damien Rice thanks to the movie Closer, and Kristin turned me on to Iron and Wine, but these days, if I buy a CD (and yes, I still buy CDs), it's from someone established that I know I like. My most recent purchase was P!nk's newest album. But I was doing a search on Amazon for Evanescence to see if they had a new album coming out, and the search led me to Within Temptation. I listened to samples of 2 tracks, and instantly bought an entire album off of iTunes. Since then, I have purchased 2 of their CDs from the store. I'm totally hooked. Right off the bat, you would compare them to Evanescence, but their songs are much more musical. There's something very theatrical about them, and I dig that. Their CDs are currently spinning back to back in my car, and I'm still in awe. There's a lot of music out there by them, and I could easily see myself getting the whole catalog at some point.
Oh yeah, and the lead singer is a dark goddess. *swoon*

As always, stuffs I want to write about, but still all about the 360 right now. I want a Tournament Edition joystick for SF IV. Too bad they are ALREADY SOLD OUT! And a month before release, too. You would think that Madcatz would make them at least up until the day of launch, but nooooo.
Saw Ben the other day, and he looks younger than me now, lol.
