there's a video for alkaline trio's "Burn" from crimson check the site to watch it.it's slightly reminiscent of Cursive's "Art is Hard" video watch that too. Dan is playing a stand up bass, like i've never seen that before.lots of shirtless people, except for the trio. are they scared of their bodies or something? you get the point.however, the flaming double dutch is quite cool.and what's up with derek's haircut?
also a remix of burn is featured on the underworld evolution soundtrack. i'm trying to download it right now, i'll let you know if it's any good.
also, if you like techno pop check out Mouse on Mars' "Wipe This Sound" from "Radical Connector" give it two listens and it'll be stuck in your head.
I recently checked out Matmos' "A Chance to Cut is a Chance to Cure" which is all samples of plastic surgery. "Lipostudio..and so on" contains the sound of fat being sucked out as the main noise in the song. before i new what it was i thought this was just another electronic whatever album, but now, i'm really disgusted and surprised someone made music from that. and i like it. one song has electric acupuncture pulses as the main beat and it's pretty good too. check it out if you want something different.
