Chris Paul scores 61 points in High School for his Grandfather
My Wish: Chris Paul
Oh, we all know I'm a sucker for a heartwarming sports story. My cousin Pete recently reminded me of these two. Marry me, Chris!

NYC and Las Vegas from above, at night
No lie, my heart actually started pounding when I saw this title in my google reader. It's no secret by now that I'm strange in general, but in particular have we already discussed my obsession with nighttime city photos? I have a whole folder of them on my (dead) computer that I hope I can recover. I have even teared up looking out a plane window at night, on many occasions. It's sad. And now this dumb links post has turned into revealing sad facts about myself.

Let the stormy clouds chase...
I posted the PG article on Facebook, but as always, I love when Ginny picks up a story because she gets everything so right.

Fully Sick Rapper
If this guy ever gets out of the hospital, maybe I'll marry him instead of Chris Paul. (You should watch all his other videos, too.)

Another great Crosby story
That first paragraph there? That's why I have fallen in love with this current Pens team more than any of my teams in the past. They are the best on the ice, and somehow even better off it.

6 going on 2 going on life
I have been reading Jenn for years and I love everything she writes, but the posts about her daughters just always rip my heart out. There's so much talk about "mommybloggers," but this goes so far beyond. It's beautiful. Tell me you don't want someone to write this to you: Just keep standing up. Don’t pretend you can’t stand. Someday, when you really can’t get your feet underneath you, I’ll know it, and you can bet I will be right there to help you up. I love you. I see you. I am yours. But you are yours, too. Always remember that, my love. Lucky girls.

Mike Modano Emotional Night at The American Airlines Center
I've never been a big Modano fan. I mean, I respect that he's one of the best, but he's just never been a personal favorite... But watching him cry on the bench and again at the end, my heart grew three sizes (Grinch reference!). Aw. No pun intended, but what a star. Okay, maybe intended.
