Here's a plus/minus for you.
+ My mom is the best. Not only did she mail me curtains for my new living room that she made out of a shower curtain, she sent them in a Talbots box (ha! Penguins joke!), and she also included a package of Sarris chocolate-covered popcorn. BEST EVER.
- Concert venues are the worst. What other type of business can get away with not picking up their phones, and then have the nerve to say in the voicemail greeting "we cannot guarantee we will return your call"? (It's even better when the voicemail box is full, too!) In my 9 years dealing with them, I still have not figured out how people at venues manage to get anything done, when it is so impossible to get in touch with them.
