You know
Stockholm Syndrome? Somewhat inspired by that, today I invented New England Syndrome. How do you know you have New England Syndrome?
You live in New England in early January. You head out to run errands, and pick up a hot beverage on the way. Because, you know, it's New England in January. While waiting to cross Somerville Ave, you think, "I didn't realize it was so warm today. I should have bought an iced coffee!" You go home and look at the weather and it's 31 degrees, feels like 25.
New England Syndrome: When below-freezing January temperatures feel "warm."
