so i'm listening to shimmer and black and yellow ledbetter and meet virginia and interstate love song and big empty and i just have this eerie feeling. god- i love these songs and i have a favorite part in each one. you know, the kind of favorite part that makes you listen to the entire song just to get to that one single spot. for example, shimmer has an amazing, quick drum solo. i love black because it makes me think of the person i used to be and the lyrics "all five horizons revolved around her soul- as the earth to the sun" remind of the feeling of completly insane love. yellow ledbetter's guitar solo is beyond great and makes me crave listening to live guitar. meet virginia just sums me up in the lyrics "her confidence is tragic but her intuition majic." and i just can compare anything to stp. i love my music. *sigh*
