film student and her (award-winning, does not suck) short film 'Intre
Ziduri' is being shown tonight at MIT as part of a festival of
european short films. It's at 7pm on MIT, Room 32-123 (Stata

Well, I made it back safely. It took a few days of travel, but I'm in Boston now. It'll take a while to sort things out, I'm sure, but I have started to get to work on it.

Those of you who know my IM-isms should be familiar with my abbreviation for Harvard Square, "hq". I don't think that "hs" sounds right, because square needs a nice hard letter to stand for it, and the round "s" is definitely not squareish. There are those who prefer h^2, which I do acknowledge, but it's just not me

The old Hancock tower has this odd looking antenna thing on it that lights up. It kinda looks like a flying saucer making a surface to ground laser strike. But did you know that the color of the lights tells you things about the weather? It's true! There's an old Boston rhyme to help you remember the meaning
