Okay, so the concert was absolutely amazing. Well, the concert and that actual trip to and from. So we leave like 10:00am Tuesday morning and as soon as we lock the house and everything, we realize we have locked the directions in the house and Josh doesn't have his key. So we had to drive to Charles' house to print off a second set...then we were off! We made it there in record time, and jammed to some pretty good Techno on the way up. So we get there and, thanks to my superior navigational skills, we never got lost. So we find the place and have like 5 hours to waste, which we wanted, so we hit up this random ass little "Burrito shack" and ask if they know where any hotels are locally. She points us in the right direction and we arrive at a Raddison. Well, Jeff and I go in and ask about the prices and she's like 149.99 per night. We were like "Um...is there anywhere cheaper...?" So the lady actually looks up a new hotel, prints off directions and prices and is like "Good luck!" How lucky can you get?! So we get there and it's kind of shady, lol I'm not gunna lie, I was a little uneasy. But we get our room and everything and unpack and such. So we go to the mall, eat some food, buy some Korean batteries...and get ready for the show. We get there an hour early and the line is freaking huge, but not as bad as we thought. So we get in, la la, everything and get down on the floor REALLY close to the stage. Head Automatica opened and was amazing. They did a great show, even though a lotta people were there for the other bands. After them was Avenged Sevenfold and well...wow. Their little symbol thing is a skull with wings and like all the thrasher kids went crazy and started killing people basically. Somehow or another I got pushed into the little death pit and had to fight my way out. It was fun. Then some little punk kid got like thrown into me and Jeff and Jeff freaking annihilated him (and my kneecap in the process). So Avenged finishes, and finally Coheed comes on. They were great, as expected. I was kinda sad they didn't play Devil in Jersey City, which is one of my favorites, but meh, I'll live. So the concert ended around like 11pm and we head back to the hotel where we had fun...as always. It was 2 beds and 4 guys + 1 girl. So, yeah. So, I finally end up passing out and waking up at like 8am in the fetal position on the floor near the sink with no blanket or pillow. I don't really know...so I didn't ask. But anyways, we load up in the car and head home. All in all, an amazing trip!
