Naminé knocked on the door to Kairi's room. Or wherever she was.

Kairi opened the door a few seconds later, smiling softly and taking a step back to let Naminé enter.

Sometimes, Naminé became oddly timid in her Other's presence; ashamed, perhaps, to stand in the presence of someone who was- well, pure good.

"Thanks," she mumbled, avoiding eye contact as she entered.

Kairi closed the door to give them some privacy, hoping it might make Naminé a little more at ease. She walked over to her bed and sat down, then patted the area next to her. "Come sit down."

Naminé sat down and waited for Kairi to say something.

After a few seconds, Kairi pulled her legs onto the bed, watching Naminé. The silence was kind of worrying.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Mm... I just wanted to talk," Naminé admitted. "I was just... lonely."

Kairi tilted her head, looking at her with a little more understanding now. She guessed her worry had some grounding afterall.

"You can come talk to me any time you feel lonely, Naminé. Did something happen?"

Naminé shook her head. "No... I was just thinking. You noticed Repliku left, right? I miss him..."

She nodded. "I noticed he'd disappeared... Maybe he'll be back soon."

[lonely_memories]

"He found me once... Yeah, he could find me again."

She sighed and leaned on Kairi; continued, sounding a little choked up, "I mean, we shared the paopu and everything. I- I just wish he'd said goodbye. And what if something happens to him while he's gone? Like- like how Larxene attacked him. And I'd never know-!"

"You would know." Kairi gave a gentle smile and placed a hand on Naminé's shoulder, hoping she was atleast a little bit of comfort.

"And I believe he could find you. He might have to do something, ...I know he'll come back."

Naminé smiled faintly. "I hope you're right."

Giving another nod, Kairi smiled a little brighter. She hoped that she'd helped, atleast.

[lonely_memories]

"And... you know, Riku still hasn't come back," Naminé added suddenly, her smile turning to an expression of concern. "I heard rumors he was at the masquerade a while back, but that's all..."
