mangaaaa! spoilers.
Why do I do this? Every week, I make the same mistake, and read Naruto before anything else. It really makes it difficult to enjoy the other chapters, because it just sort of drowns the rest out. Oh well.
Naruto: ;______; Hinataaaaaa! You're not dead, but being in a near-death state on the ground is a rather dangerous state to be in when you're next to a skeletal, six tailed Naruto demon fox! The bright side to this is that it appears Sakura will get to do something at some point soon. And apparently Sai, Yamato/Tenzo and Anko are on a mission together to find Kabuto? Either this was never mentioned, or I totally forgot about it. Given that I don't remember what Team Gai was doing either, the latter is most likely. Oh well. At any rate, Yamato/Tenzo won't do any good, since the necklace no longer exists.
My question is this: if Pain dude "destroys the fox's energy" like the statement at the end suggests may happen, what happens? Does that mean that Naruto can survive while grievously injured and just no longer be a jinchuuriki? Or would he just die? At any rate, it's about time they deal with the fox. It's becoming more and more of a problem, and they really do need to solve it pretty soon.
No Kakashi this chapter, though. It kills me. He's dragging it out way too long for him to be dead, in my opinion, but there's still a lingering fear that the big revelation of his condition will him showing up as a new Pain body. In which case, I may have to murder somebody. Or at least make someone think I will until they rewrite him back to life.
Bleach: FINALLY A DECENT CHAPTER. Holy Christ it's been a long time since anything happened in a chapter. Owlquiorra gets more and more badass, but Ichigo really needs someone to bail him out. In his defense, he's been fighting a lot, for a really long time, so he can hardly be considered in top form. Since god only knows where the rest of the captains are at this point, I still hold out hope that Byakuya and Kenpachi will show up and do some major ass-dishing. or maybe we could, oh i don't know FLASH BACK TO RUKIA'S APPARENTLY EPIC BATTLE WE ONLY GOT TO SEE FOUR PANELS OF
IDK, I'm getting really sick of reading about everybody losing really slowly. Start kicking some ass, seriously! It's boring to watch you all die.
In other news, wtf was up with the poll, Japan? You voted for most badass zanpakuto, and put KIRA ahead of Byakuya? Wabisuke!? Oh, wow, it's shaped funny and makes things heavy. That's way cooler than Senbonzakura, my mistake. At least Hitsu got first place. Not that it wasn't a lock, being a giant ice dragon.
D. Gray Man: IT'S BACK! IT'S BACK YOU GUYS. IT EXISTS. I can't really react to it, though, because I need to go back and reread. I barely remember what's going on. But still, it's baaaack!
In other news, THEYRELEASEDTHECASTLISTFORFMAOMG they released the cast list for the new FMA anime. Sadly, Roy is not the same. On the bright side, his VA is none other than URAHARA FROM BLEACH. And to make this news even more awesome, RUKIA IS RIZA HAWKEYE. RUKIA. RIZA. Aside from the total weirdness thinking of Urahara and Rukia being as obviously an item as Roy and Riza, this might just be the best news ever. Or second best, if Rukia were Riza but Roy was still the same. Ah, well, can't have everything.
