MRT

I am begining to hate the MRT rides, be it to work or on the way home. It wayyyyyyyy to crowded! Why I would want to complain in the blog?? Cos' its simply pissing the hell out of me, just in one day!

It was pouring heavily out there this morning, and I was still happily telling myself that I did not oversleep, will be on time to office today. Ok, the moment I reached the MRT platform I knew it was NOT my day. I reached the MRT at 8am, and people lined along the yellow lines where the doors were. Imagine having to wait for 30mins before you could get on a train (very very packed one). Well, I did IT again today. People were just pushing & shoving around, even if I am trying to "push" my way into the cabin, some guys that are so big in size will conveniently squeeze you out before you could step pass the cabin door.

Fine! 30mins later, I finally managed to squeeze into the train, with the door closing at my face. No prizes in guessing what happened, dripping umbrellas soon made the legs of my pants & even my shoe-bag wet. And they don't look apologetic. Damn. Never mind that, but at Bugis, some people got off the train & I manage to move slightly inwards. Hell, 3 uncles (in mid-40s I guess) squeeze in the train, when its already to the brim. The best thing that they did --- they were talking so loudly in the train, complaining how crowded the morning train was, scolding a few NxxBXX, CxxxBxx in every sentence. I could hear them with my I-pod plugged in, and their distance between me is definately TOO close for comfort. Moreover, one of them has his arm stretched upwards to hold one, and his armpit was right IN MY FACE! I was so uncomfortable, but simply no space to move, nothing to hold on in the train! PISSED. And I was late for work, reached office at 9am. Phui. Bad start for the day.

Ok, due to the fact that I left office later today, the train was not so packed at Raffles Place, managed to get on the 1st train that came, and was standing near the seats, with the pole to held on. But, the happiness did not last longgggggg enough. One stupid uncle, whom I also stared for cutting my queue into the train, and pushing me into the MRT made me super angry. He saw that I was holding on to the pole. HE TURNED AROUND, AND STICK HIMSELF TO THE ONLY POLE. BEST PART IS: HIS BUTT WAS AT WHERE MY HAND WAS, AND I COULD NOT FREE MY HAND. Damn it. I tapped his shoulder, say no less than 3 times of "Excuse me" in my loudest voice did not make him nudge! The only chance I got to pull my hand out was when someone else was getting off the train, and he was obviously blocking the way. I was so pissed and frusturated that I stared at him so hard & fiercely unril I reach my station. HE SIMPLY BO CHAP. Nabei...........

I couldn't believe my suay-ness today, and it totally make me so unhappy to take MRT to work. How I wish there is a "express" bus, or premium bus service that picks me up near my house, and sends me right to my office doorstep. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more to reduce the anger, frusturation, and make me pespire less from the "sardine ride", and potential guys who stand too close for comfort, and women who like to tidy their hair / flip their hair *I hate it no matter wet or dry hair) into my face!

Why can't someone (gah-men) do something, since the transport fees has been increasing for the past few years! Ok, maybe I should find a job that is within walking distance. Sigh.......
