thoughts from stringfield, 207, GSE, Meredith, Raleigh, NC, US, etc. etc. etc.
O MY GOODNESS!
i'm in my suite-mates' room (Leigh and Christina) using Christina's computer. she has snood. anyways. o my goodness. i don't know what to say there is alot to say.
i mostly am hanging w/ my roommate, Allison, and Leigh and Christina. the food is pretty good i like it (haha for GSW) and we have air conditioning. it's good. i like our music some of it's confusing bc it doesn't have meter, but alot of it is fun and pretty and sounds good. i like our people. there's mike trumpet, ramsey african drum dude (but he's a fat white guy), matt tall tall tall trombone, emily orr (or E-orr get it?) then yea kevin, clarinet diva. he's bald and wears no shoes, and is a diva. he makes me laugh. then for area II i have Beth Wiley who is really nice and has red hair like the other beth with red hair. then for area III i have MathRob who talks like Kermit the Frog and is the biggest geek ever and i like it so much.
then we have all other 396 of the student body ish type thing. i'm so intimidated by all these smart people man. it's crazy. but it's been really cool. i suck at meeting new people so i'm just now getting comfortable with it, but everyone has their own little groups and such so it gets harder in that aspect. anyways. there are so many funny people and pretty people and smart people and one annoying guy and yea. but mostly i hang out with Allison Leigh and Christina.
i went to Ben and Jerry's with Kyle and a guy named Brett who wears Blue cologne (sp?) and it was fun. i like walking to Eckerd's and Whole Foods.
I got early curfew last night (O MY!) for forgetting to sign back in after i had signed out to go to Eckerd's. i forget stuff like that.
i've done 3 electives so far: african drum/dancing thing (led by ramsey) which was so awesome like so awesome; a capella group except we have to audition and i dont know if i want to; and also SALSA dancing bc we have a mexican TA/C here. and yea. we actually dance w/ guys except i didn't bc yea.
anyways. so i'm doing okay and i really hope everyone is doing well in rockin weavervegas. please write or call or something that would be great i really miss everyone - it's hard not knowing people to just go up and talk to and i really really miss that
