Forgive me. It's been quite a while. I haven't been away from the computer or the internet, I've just been immensely lazy. I haven't blogged anywhere in a while. I'm a horrible online personality, aren't I? You guys have no clue what's going on in my life right now, do you?
I currently work at Circuit City. I'm a mechandising associate. I basically sell computers, printers, video games, dvds, cameras and whatever else happens to be in my half of the store. I started out as a Firedog Tech, but the management royally screwed me over and dropped me from the bench at my meager $9. 25/hr and placed me on the floor at a disgusting $7.00/hr... So for the past few months since my unceremonious demotion, I've been somewhat looking for a new job. I've basically decided on the military.
I'm looking at the Army. I've already taken the ASVAB and obtained an AFQT of 88 and line scores of over 120 all around. So I basically qualify for any job I want. At least, academically, I do. I do have one entry in my criminal record which may get in the way of some of the higher-security jobs. It's a petty theft from when I was a minor and it was expunged.... but apparently the Army doesn't care. It still counts.
The jobs I'm interested in are;
Counterintelligence Agent (35L)
Intelligence Analyst (35F)
Imagery Analyst (35G)
Information Technology Specialist (25B)
Network Switching Systems Operator/Maintainer (25F)
Public Affairs Specialist (46Q)
I'm reading a lot more lately. Currently in the middle of The Elminster series and The Twilight Wars trilogy.
