The wolf has a name

Tonight marked the final home game of the season for the Greywolves. I gave it my all, sprinting along the stands every time we scored and entertaining as best as I could. They announced at the start of the game that the wolf mascot would be named in the second period, and the best name chosen by crowd applause would become his name.

The first name was Fang, and the second name was so nonresponsive that I can't recall what it. And finally came the winning name which got a literal roar from both the crowd and the players.

The name is Mohawk for wolf: Okwahli

I'm very happy about that. It's quite an honor to be named something like that, more so when all the fans and players agreed unanimously on it at the same time.

So we have a playoff game at home next weekend, which might be hard to swing, depending on the day it falls on.

Also working on getting Okwahli out a bit more to promote the team. I have a few things that might work, but I have to make the calls first.

My foot is killing me. Tendinitis is the biggest pain ever.
