So.
Another weekend over. My parents went away for the weekend, somewhere on the Mornington Peninsula with other friends for a golfing weekend. Well, my dad will be golfing. I'm not sure what my mum (and the other non golfers) will be doing. But they're having fun. They'll be home tomorrow afternoon.
Tomorrow is Labour Day, but we don't have holidays. Everyone else does, though. Not the end of the world.
Wednesday will be much worse, however. It will herald the start of the Commonwealth Games. Public transport will be a killer. The city will be murder. I will be even less inclined to hang around longer than I have to, which will not help with the 'gaining a social life' aspect. I hate crowds. Just glad I'm no longer working. City Square must be terrible now, with the Lion King still going on, and now the Games on top of that.
Blargh.
Anyway. My sister and I have had a calm weekend. Friday and Saturday I managed to waste with style and class. Today I actually did a few tutorial questions. My sister, as usual, did what feels like a whole day of study. It's hard to feel motivated around her, she just does so much, I compare myself to her, and then I give up before I begin.
The resolution is slowly falling to pieces.
There's a reason why I never make New Year's resolutions.
Nothing interesting to report. Things have gone steadily downhill from Thursday. Wonder how deep it goes.
